When the Primary Seller Fails: Cyprus Supreme Court Enforces Conditional Back-Up Transfer Obligation

A Cyprus Supreme Court civil appeal decided 21 January 2026 holds that a buyer who paid €250,000 for property that the primary seller never delivered has a separate, enforceable contractual claim against a third-party company whose conditional fall-back obligation was activated once the primary seller failed.
